SCHOOL CONCERTS
This is an invitation from the Black Storytellers Alliance (BSA) for FREE storytlling Concerts on Friday, September 29th, 2023 for ALL MINNEAPOLIS TWIN CITIES METROPOLITAN AREA PUBLIC, PRIVATE, AND ALTERNATIVE SCHOOLS. If you have a school class (or several classes) that you would like to have attend one or all of these FREE concerts, there are only TWO (2) requirements:
1. Reservations are REQUIRED. They are on a First come, First Served basis.

2. All reservations must include chaperones for the students in attendance.
These storytellers presented by the Black Storytellers Alliance for our 33rd Annual Black Master Storytelling Festival – “Signifyin’ & Testifyin'”. The schedule of the free storytelling concerts of National & International Black Master Storytellers Below
As has been the case in the previous years, school chaperones that will be supervising must accompany ALL of their students and provide transportation to and from the sites for those students.
These concerts are held in the locations specified above. The Macalester College maxes out at 250 guests. The University of Minnesota Robert J. Jones AND the Urban Research and Outreach Engagement Center (UROC) accommodates 224 gests. ALL RESERVATIONS GRANTED ON A STRICT FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.
Therefore, all interested instructors must submit their requests for reservations no later than FRIDAY, September 22nd, 2023. (Please be sure to include a count of students and staff).
